Ultramarathon 2022
Platcorp Foundation’s focus on generating positive impact on the environment and communities, has continued to support conservancies in the greater northern Maasai Mara ecosystem. In 2022, we once again provided support for the UltraMARAthon race with assistance in the form of organisation and administrative support, funding support and direct sponsorship from five of our subsidiaries: Platinum Credit, Premier Credit, Momentum Credit, Eezy Group and Viva 365 Insurance Brokers. Over the past 12 years, the Group has supported Rhino Ark in their initiatives through our involvement with their annual Rhino Charge event – the funds from which are used to support ongoing Rhino Ark initiatives.
Mau Forest Rehabilitation
The Platcorp Foundation has been working with Enonkishu Trust together with House in the Wild since 2020 to help with the rehabilitation of the riverbank along the Mara River, adjacent to the Enonkishu conservancy.
