WHO WE ARE
Platcorp Holdings Limited (Platcorp) is an impact finance investment management holding company that primarily invests in non-banking lending subsidiaries. We have operational entities in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa and Zambia, and in total employ over 10,000 people including sales representatives, and our active client database contains more than 650,000 clients. With a strong focus on fintech solutions, and a deliberate emphasis on sustainability, the Group provides a variety of impact finance products, and related services - from business and MSME financing to tailored insurance offerings.
2022
Spectrum Credit is established in Zambia.
2021
Eezy Track expands into Tanzania (TrackNav TZ)
2020
TrackNav Uganda is established.
2019
Eezy Track and Premier Credit South Africa are established in Kenya and South Africa respectively.
2017
Momentum Credit is established in Kenya
2015
The group acquires Fanikiwa Microfinance Company Limited in Tanzania from Gatsby Charitable Trust.
2014
Premier Credit Kenya and Premier Credit Uganda are established as MSME lenders in Kenya and Uganda.
2012
The Platinum Corporation name is changed to Platcorp Holdings Limited
2009
Platinum Credit Uganda is established.
2008
The Platinum Corporation is established as a holding company for the Platinum Credit businesses in East Africa.
2006
After the successful launch in Kenya the founders establish Platinum Credit Limited in Tanzania.
2003
Platinum Credit Limited was founded in Kenya.
